Birthplace/Area Where You Grew Up: Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Szymanski practiced in Pittsburgh for 9 years at a specialty ER/GP hybrid hospital prior to re-locating to Hanover, PA. Then, she practiced as a lead veterinarian at a Maryland hospital for 1.5 years and missed emergency and critical care medicine, so she joined the Pet+E.R. Towson team!

Veterinary School: The Ohio State University; Columbus, OH
Professional Areas of Interest: ER medicine, particular interest in stabilization and care of intensive medical cases, and dentistry.
Personal Pets/Hobbies: Three dogs: a Black lab mix named Billy, Black lab named Ellie, a Beagle mix adopted at 1 year of age as a research beagle who's now 13 named Rosie and a cat named Elphaba.
She enjoys watching OSU football, spending time with her husband, friends, pets, and family, traveling and reading.
