Christine Klippen, DABVP
Dr. Klippen hails from Northern Virginia and completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2009. Dr. Klippen’s clinical areas of interest include toxicology and trauma. She enjoys community outreach and education, and she is a RECOVER CPR certified instructor in both Basic and Advanced life support. Dr. Klippen will serve as the Mentorship Coordinator for Pet+E.R. Columbia’s emergency veterinarian mentor program. She has trained more than 180 new graduate veterinarians. Dr. Klippen has also functioned as a media spokeswoman and has been featured in numerous publications to include the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Nightly News Kids’ Edition, and various television, radio, and print publications around the DC area.
